PIC is a NONPROFIT club which holds monthly glamour and figure shoots in the Southern California area.

PIC is formally known as Photo Image Corporation. It is a nonprofit club for photographers interested in glamour and figure photography. The club's goal is to provide the members an opportunity to photograph the best possible models at the lowest cost.

With over 33 years of continuous club sponsored shoots in Southern California, the major differences between PIC shoots and others in the area are size and expenses. PIC shoots tend to be smaller, usually from 10 to 20 photographers, depending on the location. All fees paid by the photographers go to the models/agents. The club absorbs any small profit or loss from each shoot. In some cases there is a location expense, or shoot credit, paid out of the fees.

How many Models?

The number of models is determined by the number of paid photographers at each shoot. The nonprofit element of the club dictates that all of the money collected is spent on the model/agent fees, and the occasional location fee. The officers determine the number of models to be hired. A simple division of the amount paid by photographers, by the amount paid to models will determine the number of models for that shoot. At the current market rate, it requires about 4 photographers to pay for a model, and the photographer to model ratio is less than 5:1.
